Hello, and welcome to my new website.

I’m Jenna, an author from North Yorkshire. I write cosy, character-driven fiction. My first novel, The Moon and Stars, was published in 2022 and tells the story of Matthew, a singer who is trying to conquer his stage fright and find his voice again.

My second novel, The Hometown Bookshop, is coming this August and explores the unlikely friendship between two very different characters who are thrown together to run a bookshop at the seaside.

I also write short fiction, mainly in the fantasy genre, and occasional pieces for the stage. I love writing fanfiction, and this has been my hobby for more than twenty years.

My day job is working as a bookseller. I run my own independent bookshop, Book Corner in Saltburn-by-the Sea. My bookselling experience was a big inspiration for The Hometown Bookshop.

When I’m not writing or working in the shop, I enjoy reading (of course), going to the theatre (I particularly love musicals), and singing in a local choir.
